Ritual

I lovingly thank you energy for bringing me lessons. i lovingly release any energy that is not my own.

You hear a lot of people talk about palo santo, sage and crystals these days. Esoteric. Or whatever.

Above is the mantra I repeat whenever I palo santo my space. AKA sometimes, when I just feel like I’m carrying around too much emotional baggage from a day of absorbing other people’s negativity, I light a piece of palo santo wood resin like it’s incense and get it going until it starts to give off smoke. I intentionally waft it and move around the room to hit basically all 4 directions, with a window or door opened somewhere, while saying the above out loud. I picture any negative energy that isn’t serving me in some way drifting out the window on the wings of the smoke, also escaping.

And that’s it. That’s my ceremony. A ritual I developed that helps me focus my thoughts and energy into anything productive. There’s no right or wrong way to do this. Just do you. I figured if anyone out there is hesitant to try it, this could serve as a guide on how to start.

Good vibes only.
